"Deathtrap," a murder mystery, is appearing on the Schoolhouse Arts Center stage June 1 -17. Bruce Avery of Standish is directing this gasp inducing thriller with hilarious moments. Deathtrap provides twists and turns and sudden shocks in such abundance that audiences will be held spellbound until the very last moment.

You're invited to watch Bill Knolla of Denmark as Sidney Bruhl, Pam Rodgers of Falmouth as Myra Bruhl, Michael Donovan of Alfred as Clifford Anderson, Trish McAllister of Sebago as Helga Ten Dorp, and Erik Hannah of Portland as Porter as they tell you the story of Sidney Bruhl, a successful writer of Broadway thrillers, struggling to overcome a dry spell which has resulted in a string of flops. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a writing student which he decides has the potential to be a Broadway hit. Sidney's plan, which he devises to the shock of his wife, is to offer to collaborate with the student and then kill him and steal his script. Thereafter, suspense mounts steadily as the plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness and shocking surprise.

Be sure not to miss this one! Deathtrap will run Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2 PM from June 1 - 17.
