In “Readers’ Theater,” The Daytime Players set out solve some of life’s nagging questions – Can a pinch of snuff cure lust? Can you find true love on a ferris wheel... especially when you are over 70?

The Daytime Players, dedicated to senior theater, are determined to “not go gentle into that good night"… at least not without a laugh or two. “We’ve got a lot to say. We’re a pretty verbal,” says Jerry Walker, the guiding force behind the troupe.

Performances will be Friday, June 3 at 7:30 pm and Saturday & Sunday June 4 & 5 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10 general admission.

The Daytime Players have an open-door policy and we welcome all performers, writers and technical people. If you are interested in getting involved, contact Jerry Walker or email Schoolhouse for more information.

Help Us Upgrade Our Theater Lighting System

We need help raising funds to update our theater lighting system. Our current system is very outdated and parts are no longer manufactured for the system. We are fundraising to upgrade to digital technology, which allows for more precise control of the lighting and the ability to add special effects. We have already raised 2/3rds of the funds needed. We need to raise another $10K in order to move forward with the upgrade. We really need to have the new lighting in place for our summer musical.
