IN THE NEWS - DRACULA & SCHOOLHOUSE

‘Dracula’ delivers chills and thrills at Schoolhouse Arts

HELP US HEAT OUR THEATER

The furnace in our theater has died and needs to be replaced! Unfortunately, this is an expensive project and we really need help!

As with most theaters, ticket sales cover only a portion of our costs and our productions would not be possible without additional financial contributions from friends and patrons who value the arts. When it comes to a huge expense, like replacing a furnace, we must raise the money in order to pay for it.

If you would like to contribute toward our fundraising efforts, please click the button below (or click on GoFundMe):

The Bruce Avery Scholarship Fund has been established in loving memory of Bruce Avery, who supported Schoolhouse for many years as a director, teacher, mentor and much, much more. Schoolhouse would not be the same without Bruce and his ongoing dedication and commitment.

The Daytime Players Have Been Revived!

The Daytime Players, originally organized by seniors for seniors, are actors of all ages. Their name originates from their choice to rehearse and perform primarily during the daytime, performing perform scripts written by playwrights in the group as well as published authors. The Daytime Players perform in theaters, halls, retirement homes, meeting rooms – basically, wherever there’s an audience!

If you are interested in getting involved, contact Jerry Walker or email Schoolhouse for more information.

Schoolhouse's New & Improved Theater

There has been a flurry of activity at Schoolhouse Arts Center!  We are excited to announce that we have completed phases one and two of our major theater renovation.  Our new seating will now accomodate 150 people with a better views of the stage for every patron. The new renovations enable patrons to access the theater directly from the Gathering Room on the main floor and offer a new handicapped ramp with direct access to the theater.
